Platinum Series Chrome Plugin - Quick Fix

LT Security posted this on Apr 20, 2015

Dear Customer,

Google has changed Chrome to block our Platinum plugin and others by default.  There is a work around, but it is only temporary.  Google is will remove support for our plugin sometime in September 2015.  Currently, we recommend switching to Firefox.

Here is the work-around:

1. Copy the following URL and paste it into your Chrome address bar:

chrome://flags/#enable-npapi

2. Enable NPAPI* plugins:

3. Close the browser.

More detailed instructions and background information can be found here:

Note: Chrome may be running in the background.  That means that it doesn’t really close; it just looks like it does.  To prevent this, disable background running.

* The web component is an NPAPI type of plugin
